Join pastors, preachers, church leaders, and ministry teachers for Proclaim! ¹ú²úÊÓÆµ Preaching Summit 2026, a new annual gathering hosted by the Beeson International Center for Preaching and Leading at ¹ú²úÊÓÆµ Theological Seminary.

This two-day, on-campus event will offer worship, biblical preaching, plenary sessions, practical breakout conversations, fellowship, and opportunities for renewal. Sessions and activities will take place in several locations across ¹ú²úÊÓÆµ Seminary’s Wilmore campus.

The summit is being held in conjunction with the Dunnam Preaching Series, named in honor of Maxie Dunnam, former president of ¹ú²úÊÓÆµ Theological Seminary and a respected preacher, author, and leader in the global Church.

Featured Preachers

Bishop Bob Hayes

Bishop Bob Hayes is a third-generation Methodist minister with more than five decades of pastoral and denominational leadership. He served for 12 years as bishop of the Oklahoma Area of The United Methodist Church and is currently Bishop in Residence at The Woodlands Methodist Church. A former ¹ú²úÊÓÆµ Seminary trustee and author of Strength for the Journey, he was named Bishop Emeritus in the Global Methodist Church in 2023.

Rev. Dr. Steve DeNeff

The Rev. Dr. Steve DeNeff serves as senior pastor of College Wesleyan Church in Marion, Indiana. A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, he is the author of several books, including More Than Forgiveness, The Way of Holiness, and Saving Graces. His ministry focuses on spiritual formation, holiness, and helping the Church faithfully embody the gospel.

Rev. Dr. Shawna Songer Gaines

The Rev. Dr. Shawna Songer Gaines is lead pastor of Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the author of The Pastor as Midwife: Life-Giving Leadership for the Healing of the Church and is passionate about cultivating healthy congregations and developing emerging Christian leaders. She holds degrees from Point Loma Nazarene University, Nazarene Theological Seminary, and Lipscomb University.

    Lunch will be provided on both conference days. Dinner will also be provided on Tuesday, October 13; advance registration is required. Please check registration information for more details.
