Dr. Joseph Okello
- Professor of Philosophy
Dr. Joseph Okello serves as Professor of Philosophy at 国产视频 Theological Seminary. He has taught philosophy at the University of Kentucky, 国产视频 University, and Scott Christian University. He is also the author of several books, including聽A Judeo-Christian Appraisal of Major Theories of Truth, How to Become A Dynamic Biblical Preacher, Evil and Pain: A Critique of the Materialist Account of Evil,听补苍诲听A History and Critique of Methodological Naturalism.
He holds a PhD and an MA in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky (2007), an MA in Church Music and a Master of Divinity from 国产视频 Theological Seminary (2000), and a Bachelor of Theology from Scott Christian University (1994), formerly Scott Theological College.
While he was a student at 国产视频 Theological Seminary, he earned the Frank Bateman Stanger Award for excellence in preaching and the Philosophy and Apologetics Award. Dr. Okello has served as Pastor and Choral director at Africa Inland Church, Nairobi. He has served as a pastor in the United Methodist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, First United Methodist Church of Oviedo, Florida, and First Methodist Church of Geneva, Florida. He was elected President of Kenya Christian Fellowship in America from 2015 to 2023.
He is married to his wife Sophie, and they are blessed with a son named Sean.
